"The City of Kewaunee had a need to replace the existing roofs of our Municipal Building, Police Department, and Fire Station garage.  All of these roofs were flat roofs and as such, initial specifications were prepared to replace the roofs with the same.  Upon the suggestion of LaPlant Roofing & Construction, the City seriously looked at their recommendation of installing a stone coated metal roof with a lifetime warranty instead.  In the end, the City of Kewaunee did install a stone coated metal roof and with the assistance of LaPlant Roofing & Construction a truss plan was prepared that tied all the roofs together so they were pitched and no longer flat.  Unless you would know otherwise, this roofing looks like any normal asphalt shingled roof.  Many compliments have been received with the City choosing this roofing material and knowing that it will last a lifetime."
